What to Expect

During your first visit, we will have you fill out a few brief forms to gain some general information about you and your health history. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. You will then be given a short physical to assess your current health and help target what we need to address during your care. Your initial visit will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour so we can be as thorough with your concern as possible.

All you need to bring with you is a form of ID and your health insurance card (if you wish to go through insurance).  If you have any additional pertinent medical information (X-rays, MRI reports, etc) you can bring those as well.  Feel free to bring a friend or loved one with you during your visit as well! 

Once all your paperwork has been completed, we will take some time to perform a brief physical/orthopedic exam, postural analysis, and test your current range of motion. During this, we will discuss your current health, any concerns you may have, and talk about how our treatment can help. Please note that if your visit is in regards to a previous injury, X-rays may be necessary before any adjustments can take place. If there is no need for X-rays we will begin treatment right away, which can include an adjustment (or adjustments), physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. Afterwards, if necessary, Dr Jason will give you some home-care instructions or exercises, as well as any therapy equipment that may be necessary (Thera-bands, heat/cold packs, etc)

Depending on the patient and their needs, regular visits can last, on average, anywhere from 15-30 minutes.
